1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a device. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, web beacons, SDKs, local storage, and device identifiers. They can support security, preferences, analytics, advertising, and measurement.
2. Current use
At the effective date, Tuga Futebol does not intentionally activate Google or Meta advertising tags through its application code. Hosting and network providers may still use strictly necessary technologies for security, load balancing, and delivery. This policy will be updated when additional technologies are introduced.
3. Cookie categories
- Strictly necessary: security, authentication, fraud prevention, load balancing, and consent-choice storage. These do not require consent where a legal exemption applies.
- Functional: language, display, followed-team, or other preferences that improve requested functionality.
- Analytics: aggregated information about visits, performance, and feature usage.
- Advertising: ad delivery, frequency control, conversion measurement, audience creation, and ads personalisation.
4. Google technologies
If enabled, Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Google AdSense may use cookies, IP addresses, web beacons, or other identifiers. Third-party vendors, including Google, may place and read cookies to serve or measure ads based on visits to this and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on those visits.
Learn about Google's processing at business.safety.google/privacy. Users can manage personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings or industry opt-out tools such as optout.aboutads.info.
5. Meta technologies
If enabled, Meta Pixel or Conversions API may process page visits, device and browser information, cookie identifiers, and conversion events for ad measurement and personalisation. Meta may act as an independent or joint controller for certain processing. Details are available in the Meta Privacy Policy and Meta Cookies Policy.
6. Consent
Non-essential analytics and advertising technologies will not be activated before consent where applicable. Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and indicated through an affirmative choice. Rejecting non-essential cookies must remain available without loss of the website's core functionality, and consent can be withdrawn as easily as it was given.
Before AdSense is enabled for visitors in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Tuga Futebol will configure a Google-certified CMP integrated with the applicable IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The CMP will provide granular choices, identify relevant ad partners, pass consent signals, and provide a way to reopen preferences.
7. Managing cookies
When non-essential technologies are introduced, the consent interface will let users accept, reject, or manage categories and later withdraw consent. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies, although this may affect requested functionality. Privacy requests may be sent to [email protected].
8. Updates
We will update this policy and the consent interface when vendors, cookie purposes, or retention periods change. A current vendor and cookie inventory must be presented through the CMP before advertising tags are activated.
